South Florida Lawmen Police Softball Team

Established in 1997, the South Florida Lawmen police softball team is a proud and dedicated group of law enforcement officers representing agencies across Florida and Georgia. United by a shared commitment to service, teamwork, and honoring the fallen, the Lawmen have built a strong legacy over nearly three decades—both on and off the field.

Comprised of active-duty officers and deputies, the team travels throughout the United States to compete in law enforcement softball tournaments, with a focus on memorial and charity events. Their mission goes beyond the game; they use their platform to pay tribute to the brave men and women in uniform who have made the ultimate sacrifice, keeping their memories alive through sport and community engagement.

The South Florida Lawmen embody the spirit of brotherhood and service, carrying the badge with pride as they raise funds, build awareness, and foster unity across departments and states. Whether on the diamond or in their communities, the Lawmen continue to lead by example—serving with honor, playing with purpose, and always remembering the fallen.

The Lawmen have two Police Softball hall of fame inductees, sportsmen of the year awards, all-star participates and are currently ranked #9 out of 75 plus travel teams
